People's Daily Bell: U.S. unilateral sanctions to destroy the global industrial chain supply chain stable

Author:Report Time:2022.08.02

The so -called "Uighurs forced Labor Prevention Law" in the United States has imposed unilateral sanctions on Chinese enterprises and personnel in Xinjiang in China, trying to strip Xinjiang from the global industrial chain to create "forced decoupling". The US move not only trampled on international economic and trade rules, harmed the interests of Xinjiang enterprises, but also ignored the laws of economic development, and severely damaged the stability of the global industrial chain supply chain.

In recent years, the United States has been addicted to losing chain against China, trying to curb and suppress China economy. Xinjiang, which occupies an important position in the global industrial chain supply chain, has naturally become its "nail in the eyes." Xinjiang is the world's most important photovoltaic industry basic material polysilicon production base. Xinjiang cotton is a recognized high -quality natural fiber raw material in the global industry. It is an important raw material guarantee for the healthy and sustainable development of the textile industry in China and the global textile industry. The output accounts for about 20%of global cotton output. Xinjiang also produces about 25%of tomato sauce, 15%of beer, and about 10%of walnuts, peppers and artificial fibers. Xinjiang is also the largest wind turbine manufacturer in China, and its output accounts for 13%of the world. The true intention of the United States to make evil laws is to suppress the advantageous industries of Xinjiang, and then destroy Xinjiang's peace and stability and prosperity.

The formation and development of the global industrial chain supply chain is the result of long -term market laws and corporate selection. U.S. abuse of unilateral sanctions, artificially splitting the industrial chain supply chain formed by the market for many years, is harming the common interests of the world. Recently, the prices of polysilicon have risen continuously, a new high since 2011. The United States suppressing Xinjiang industries has caused the global photovoltaic industry chain supply chain to fragile and seriously interfere with the global photovoltaic industry cooperation and development.

U.S. domineering unilateral behavior is not good for others. According to the United States, 85%of the US solar panel production relies on China, and the relevant supply chain runs through the entire Xinjiang region. The United States has frequently played the "Xinjiang card", and the solar industry in the country cannot be impacted. Relevant businessmen in the United States said that sanctions "significantly suppressed the import of photovoltaic components, leading to restrictions on related companies or even stopping production and suspension of delivery, resulting in restrictions on the development of the US photovoltaic industry in the near future." The US media clearly pointed out that sanctions are tantamount to moving stones to smash their feet, "it will affect the realization of the US government's renewable energy goals." Craig Allen, chairman of the National Committee of the US -China Trade National Committee, pointed out that the so -called "Uyghur forced Labor Prevention Law" has made many companies confused, brought significant uncertainty, further disturbed the severe tension of supply chains, and continued to deteriorate inflation.

In the face of obvious facts and business development prospects, more and more companies say "no" to the US government's stick policy. From the person in charge of the United States Industry Association praised "China has done a good job in all aspects, especially in supplying the US retail fashion market, the United States cannot stop China." German automobile companies have repeatedly emphasized that their Xinjiang factories do not have any so -called "forced labor" phenomenon, which fully shows justice and freedom.

Xinjiang's cotton is white and solar is clean, but the intention of the United States to make evil methods is dark and dirty. As the global industrial chain supply chain has continued to be tense, the US malicious manufacturing "forced decoupling" and disturbing normal product supply will only drag the world economic recovery. What the United States does does not block the firm pace of pursuing a better life in Xinjiang people, and it cannot stop China's historical trend of continuous development and growth. It will only make itself a stumbling block for global development and progress.
