Xin Guobin, deputy minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: The pace of new industrialization in my country over the past ten years has accelerated significantly

On June 14, the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a press conference on the "China Ten Years" series of themes. At the meeting, Xin Guobin, deputy minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, pointed out that the pace of new industrialization in my country has accelerated significantly in the past ten years, the industrial system is more complete, the industrial chain is more complete, the overall strength of the industry, quality and efficiency, and innovation, competitiveness, and anti -risk capabilities have significantly improved improvement. We ushered in the historic leap from the "manufacturing power" and "Internet power" to "manufacturing power" and "network strong country".

Data show that from 2012 to 2021, my country's industrial added value increased from 2.09 trillion yuan to 37.3 trillion yuan, an average annual increase of 6.3%, which was much higher than the average annual growth rate of about 2%of the global industrial value -added during the same period. In the past ten years, a number of "world first" has appeared in my country's industrial field. Among the 500 major industrial products, more than 40 % of products in my country ranks first in the world. At the same time, the production of raw materials such as crude steel, cement, electrolytic aluminum, methanol and other raw materials in China ranks first in the world.

In the past ten years, my country's high -tech manufacturing and equipment manufacturing industries accounted for the increase in industrial added value above designated size, respectively from 9.4%and 28%in 2012 to 15.1%and 32.4%in 2021. The value -added energy consumption of industrial units above designated size has decreased by 28%and 16%on the "Twelfth Five -Year Plan" and "Thirteenth Five -Year Plan", and further decreased by 5.6%in 2021. The amount of water added for 10,000 yuan industrial value decreased by 35%and nearly 40%, respectively, and further decreased by 7%in 2021. In terms of comprehensive utilization of resources, the comprehensive utilization rate of general industrial solid waste in 2020 reached 55.4%, and the recycling of regenerative resources was about 380 million tons. In terms of cultivating a new engine of green development, since 2012, the compound annual growth rate of the total output value of environmental equipment manufacturing has exceeded 10%.
