Data show that in the first seven months, Chengdu imported and exported 106.81 billion yuan in general trade, an increase of 59.8%, accounting for 22.4%of the total value of the import and export of Chengdu during the same period, an increase of 7.2 percentage points from the same period last year. At the same time, the import and exports of countries along the “Belt and Road” have increased well. As the role of various types of helping enterprises in Chengdu has continued to prominent, policies such as fiscal, taxation, finance, and trade facilitation have formed a joint force, which has further stimulated the vitality of the market for private enterprises, and endogenous motivation has continued to increase. In the first seven months, the import and export of Chengdu's private enterprises was 118.44 billion yuan, an increase of 34.3%, accounting for 24.8%, an increase of 4.8 percentage points from the same period last year. At the same time, in the first 7 months, Chengdu Mechanical and Electrical Products accounted for an export leading position, and labor -intensive products exported to maintain a growth trend.

However, affected by factors such as the intensified global inflation, the continued rise in international maritime transportation, the repeated epidemic, and the shrinking demand for consumer electronics, the import of Chengdu Mechanical and Electrical Products was 170.88 billion yuan in the first 7 months, a decrease of 2.8%; The impact of rising demand, Chengdu imported metal ore and ore sand was 50.02 billion yuan, an increase of 8.5 times, accounting for 2.5%.
