From January to May, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Xinjiang increased by 1.7% year-on-year

Tianshan News (Reporter's Gao Feng Report) The reporter learned from the Bureau of Statistics of the Autonomous Region: From January to May, the total retail sales of consumer goods in the region was 131.353 billion yuan, an increase of 1.7%over the same period last year, and 3.2 percentage points higher than the country.

In terms of consumption form, the total retail sales of goods above the limit of 63.509 billion yuan, an increase of 7.2%over the same period last year, and a growth rate of 2.3 percentage points from January-April. Among them, wholesale and retail enterprises above the limited amount increased by 88.7%through public networks, an increase of 65.7%in May. The accommodation and catering industry continued to decline, and the accommodation industry of units above the limit decreased by 13.9%, a decrease of 2.2 percentage points from January-April; catering revenue of units above the limit increased by 3.3%, an increase of 3.8 percentage points from January to April.

In terms of commodity categories, affected by the epidemic, in the May limit, the rest of the commodity retail of the units above the goods, except for grain, oil and food, oil, and other categories of retail increased compared with the same period of the previous year, the rest showed to varying degrees. From January to May, the retail sales of grain, oil and food products increased by 13.6%, and the growth rate accelerated by 3.6 percentage points from January to April, of which 21.9%was increased in May, which was 14.5 percentage points accelerated from April. Driven by international oil prices, retail sales of oil and product products increased by 31.5%, of which 31.3%of them increased in May.
