China's service trade scale has ranked second in the world for eight consecutive years

In 2022, the China International Services Trade Fair "New Trend of the Development of Service Trade and Development Trends Summit Forum" was held at the National Convention Center on the 1st. The scale of China's service trade has reached a record high, ranking second in the world for eight consecutive years; the quality of quality is steady, the pace of openness has accelerated, the level of coordination has improved, regional development is better, and foreign cooperation has been strengthened.

Wang Dongtang, director of the Ministry of Commerce's Services Trade and Business Services Department, introduced that "Report 2021" is led by the Ministry of Commerce and an industry development report jointly compiled by the relevant member units and relevant local and industry experts. The "Report 2021" is divided into three parts: review, industry articles, and case articles. From the perspective of the government, industry, and local perspectives, the development situation, prospects and policies of China's service trade are explained.

At the forum, the Development Research Center of the State Council and the China Information and Communication Research Institute jointly released the "Digital Trade Development and Cooperation Report 2022" (hereinafter referred to as "Report 2022"), which introduced the latest progress and promotion policies in China's digital trade development. The global digital trade pattern and policy rules were formulated, and the key issues and judgments of hotspots in digital trade development were analyzed and judged, and proposed ideas and suggestions to promote the deepening of global digital trade and common development.

"Report 2022" pointed out that China's digital trade has developed rapidly. In 2021, the total value of China's digital service imports and exports reached 359.69 billion US dollars, an increase of 22.3%year -on -year, accounting for 43.2%of service imports and exports; The scale of the annual digital service net exports reached 30 billion US dollars, an increase of 103.2%year -on -year. "Report 2022" recommends that in the face of major opportunities and rules governance challenges of digital trade development, countries around the world should adhere to the principles of openness, equality cooperation, mutual benefit and win -win situation, strengthen the docking of digital trade policies, promote the compatibility of digital platforms, and improve the level of trade facilitation.
