Earlier, the Ministry of Commerce stated that my country has signed 19 free trade agreements with 26 countries and regions. Is this number updated? What are the plans for signing or upgrading in the future?

In this regard, Shu Jingsing pointed out that in the past 20 years, my country's "circle of friends" in China has continued to expand, the content of the free trade agreement is increasingly richer, and the level has continued to improve. The trade zone network was initially formed. As of now, my country has signed 19 free trade agreements with 26 countries and regions, and free trade partners have covered Asia, Oceania, Latin America, Europe and Africa. my country's trade with free trade partners accounts for about 35%of the total foreign trade.

In the next step, Shu Jingsing said that it will make efforts from the three aspects of "expansion, quality improvement, and efficiency" to promote the implementation of a free trade zone to enhance the strategy and effectively connect the two domestic and international markets. Provide mechanism guarantees and serve the new development pattern.

The first is to further expand the scope. Actively promote the addition of the CPTPP process, conduct consultations with the members of the agreement, and maintain close communication; comprehensively promote the joining of DEPA negotiations, and strive to officially join as soon as possible; continue to promote free trade agreements with the sea, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Israel, Norway, China, Japan and South Korea and other free trade agreements Negotiations and the upgrade process of China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone 3.0, sign a free trade agreement with more willing trade partners, and jointly promote the integration of regional economic integration and liberalization of trade investment.

The second is to further improve the level. Further increase the proportion of zero tariffs for goods trade, relax the service trade and investment market access, actively participate in the negotiations of new rules such as digital economy and environmental protection, and promote the construction of a higher -level open -type economic system.

The third is to further enhance the effectiveness.
