According to the data, Zhuhai Meizu was established in March 2003. It focuses on the research and development and manufacturing business of smartphone software and hardware, as well as engaging in smart wearable business, smart home business, and fashion consumption and electronic fast -moving product business. On the other side, the chairman of the Xingji Times is Li Shufu, and the major shareholders are Geely Group, holding 32.3%of the shares, but it has not yet launched business.

Before the transaction, Mr. Huang Xiuzhang and Taobao (China) Software Co., Ltd. ("Taobao China") held 49.08%and 27.23%of Zhuhai Meizu, respectively to jointly control Zhuhai Meizu. After the completion of this transaction, Mr. Huang Xiuzhang's holding of the shareholding of Zhuhai Meizu will be reduced to 9.79%. Taobao China will withdraw from the shareholding and control of Zhuhai Meizu; Solid control of Zhuhai Meizu. This means that Geely's related company plans to acquire Meizu has become a set.

The reporter noticed that the news of Geely's mobile phone was not the first time. On September 28, 2021, Geely's Star Times signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone to officially announce the entry into the mobile phone field. At the beginning, it was positioned to position high -end smartphones, integrating global technology and resources, and serving the global market.
