Chinese scientists found new plant Wolong Potterflatin in Grand Panda National Park

On August 12, the cover journalist learned from the Chengdu Biological Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences that Chinese scientists discovered the new plant Wolong Pot Basin in the Grand Panda National Park and found that they were named in the Panda National Park Wolong National Nature Reserve. It is a Wolong basin distance orchid, and the results were published online on July 19, 2022 on the ecological international journal "Ecosystem Health and Sustainability" (IF: 4.97).

It is understood that in November 2020, the research team discovered the nutritional plants of the "special" Lanke plant in the wild. Later, under the long -term observation of Cheng Yuehong, a senior senior engineer of the Grand Panda National Park Wolong National Nature Reserve, it was successfully collected in May 2021 to successfully collect specimens. After the team carried out detailed literature research, specimens, morphological comparison, and molecular system studies, it was finally determined that the Lanke plant was a new species of Orchidaceae.

At present, the new species only knows that it is distributed in Wolong National Nature Reserve in Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province. Potchial spacing orchid is a genus of about 58 species, mainly distributed in East and Southeast Asia. Many of the belongings are local species in narrow sense, with about 31 species distributed in China, of which 17 are unique to my country.
