South China University of Science and Technology and Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. cooperated to conduct a robotic innovation platform construction project based on artificial intelligence technology. The start and end of the project is from May 1, 2020 to July 15, 2021, and Mr. Bi Sheng serves as the project leader.

This project builds a whole set of innovative platforms based on Huawei Hilens platform artificial intelligence technology combined with robot technology to enable students to experience the development process of intelligent systems, and improve the completeness of artificial intelligence technology, software systems and algorithm design, hardware system design, and intelligent system works complete complete works. Realize the understanding of the process.

With the joint efforts of the school and enterprise, the following main results have been achieved:

1. Developed a set of development platforms based on Huawei Hilens's autonomous driving platform, which can be used as students to learn artificial intelligence technology. Through the Huawei Hilens development platform, the visual robot -based intelligent navigation function is realized, and autonomous driving is realized. The platform supports submission of project design documents and results demonstration DEMO, training and inference data sets, and deploying code. Hilens Kit integrates the Atlas200AI acceleration module. It is a multimedia terminal device with AI reasoning capabilities. It has high -definition camera access, which is convenient for users to quickly access and use Ascend 310 AI processors' strong processing capabilities. The target detection algorithm is deployed on Hilens Kit. After configured the Hilens Kit, you can upload the model to the cloud platform to deploy the skills. In this process, the middle school student system has studied various artificial intelligence algorithms and used in robot development practice. Based on this platform, you can participate in college students 'innovation competitions, so that students' innovation ability can be cultivated.

2. In conjunction with this project, the "Intelligent System" Future Innovation Laboratory and the first school -level demonstration teaching and research room "Intelligent System and Application Virtual Teaching and Research Room" will be provided to provide students with intelligent technical professional knowledge learning places to provide students with more experimental opportunities Practice and innovate the application of intelligent technology in various industries, and cultivate more students' innovative thinking and innovative ability to use intelligent technology.

3. Guide students to achieve various related innovative designs through this innovation platform.
