congratulate!Hu Hailan won the "World Outstanding Female Scientist Achievement Award"

On the evening of June 23, local time, the "World Outstanding Female Scientist Achievement Award" awards ceremony was held in the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France. Professor Hu Hailan, Dean of Brain Science and Brain Medical College of Brain Science and Brain Medical, China, won the 2022 "World Outstanding Female Scientist Achievement Award" for major discovery in society and emotional neuroscience. She is one of the youngest winners in the world and the seventh Chinese award -winner since the establishment of the award.

That night, 15 top female scientists from the fields of life and environmental sciences, physical sciences, mathematics and computer science were awarded the title of "Outstanding Female Scientist in the World" to commend them with outstanding contributions to research, overcome the world's problems and challenges.

The awards ceremony also commended the 30 "Most Popular Female Scientist Award" winners. They represent the younger generation of scientists who respond to important global challenges and call for changes. Among them, the post -90s scientific rookie Bai Rui from the West Lake University of China won the 2020 "Most Popular Female Scientist Award" with breakthrough research in RNA splicing molecular mechanism.

The award was co -organized by the L'Oreal Enterprise Foundation and UNESCO. This is the first time to restart the offline awards ceremony since 2019. The previous two sessions were forced to cancel due to the epidemic.
