After waiting for many years, Muwei II detector is finally about to launch. This time, I directly explore life

NASA revealed the news of the Europa Express mission of Jet Promoting Laboratory. Scientists believe that there is a spherical salt water sea on the frozen layer under the surface of the moon.

It is launched by NASA: NASA's jet promotion laboratory will be carried out by 2024 and will be committed to answering issues related to the frozen layers, ingredients, and geology of the Europa ocean.

NASA has just made great progress in Mu Weiji's exploration plan. The task was named the Oroba Clippers. The reason for the Clippers was because scientists believed that there was a liquid ocean under the Europa ice shell. This liquid sea was twice the total marine volume of the earth. One of the tasks of the Europa Clippers is to find signs of life in the ocean of Europa. According to NASA reports, John Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Maryland has sent the main part of the spacecraft to the jet promotion laboratory in Passadina, California this month. In the next two years, the other parts of the spacecraft will be assembled in the jet promotion laboratory. It is expected to complete the assembly before launch in October 2024 and reach Jupiter in 2030.

Obaro Express: Small and powerful

The main body of the spacecraft is not as huge as the spacecraft, with 10 feet (3 meters) 5 feet (1.5 meters) wide. But then, when its solar cell array unfolded, the entire spacecraft was as large as a basketball court. It is true that it is the largest aerospace device developed by NASA for the Aerospace Exploration Mission so far. Similarly, the main part is loaded with a powerful and complex robot aerospace, in order to study the Obaro Express from unprecedented details. The fuselage is composed of electronic equipment, radios, hot circuit pipes, cables, and aluminum materials.

The main part of the Europa Express is a stack of two aluminum -plated cylindrical stacks with snail holes. The engineers used these snail holes to hold the components of the Oroba Clippers. This contains radio frequency modules, radiation detectors, promoting system electronic units, power variables and its wiring. The Europa Clippers have 8 antennas, including high -gain antennas, and its measurement width can reach 10 feet (3 meters) width. The protective zone composed of a large number of wires, weighing 150 pounds (68 kg) is also the "big head" of the Europa Express Ship. If you stretch the wires that make up a protective belt, it can reach almost 2100 feet (640 meters) long; it is equivalent to twice as long as the periphery of the periphery of the football field.

The Electronic component of the Europa Express is heavy, and their design needs to meet the Europa Clippers that can still run around the radiation Jupiter.

The body composition of the Europa Clippers includes two storage tanks, one is the storage fuel, and the other is the storage oxidant. These two tanks can provide thrust for the 24 engines of the Europa Express. As a representative of the Tim Larson as a representative of the Tim Larson as a representative of the Tim Larson

There are two main functions of the aerospace engine: First, the flight status of the spacecraft is greatly adjusted, including the need to burn a large amount of fuel to brake when approaching Jupiter to be captured by the track; the other is to accurately control the spacecraft The posture was fine -tuned to the spacecraft through other celestial bodies and near Muwei.

Exciting moment

Jordan Evans is the project manager of the Oroba Clippers Plan for the Journal Promoting Laboratory. He said:

For the entire project team, the successful delivery of the Europa Clippers will be an exciting moment, and it will also be a huge milestone. This will be the launch of our departure of the Oroba Clippers and its scientific research on Muwei II. Essence

Integrated stage

The APL and Jet Promotion Laboratory and NASA's Goddard Space Flying Center designed the subject of the Europa Express. The project manager assistant Tom Manger said:

APL designed, built, and tested the flight system -using a team composed of hundreds of engineers and technicians -the largest system established by APL has history.

Evans added:

Extremely in the jet promotion laboratory, it is essentially a separate assembly stage. Under the leadership of APL, this delivery includes the work of the two centers of institutions and NASA. Now, the team will make this system a higher level of integration.

9 scientific instrument

There will be no scientific instruments equipped with Tusi Two Clippers. These instruments are now reaching the Jet Promotion Laboratory (JPL). Here, engineers will assemble them into the "Clippers" to make them a veritable spacecraft. The first of these instruments was the ultrace spectrometer (Europa-UVS), which arrived in March. The next one will reach the thermal radiation imaging system (E-theMis). Ultraviolet spectrometers will analyze the ultraviolet wavelength of the satellite surface, and the data obtained can make scientists understand the type of material existence on the surface of Tuski. This instrument can initially prove the existence of some simple molecules, such as hydrogen (H₂), oxygen (O₂), hydroxide (OH), carbon dioxide (CO₂), etc. It may also detect simple alkanes such as methane (CH₄) and ethane (C₂H₆). These substances are raw materials for synthetic compound compounds such as amino acids, and complex chemicals like amino acids are the raw materials that produce proteins and synthesize our currently known substances.

A new perspective of Obaro

The Obaro Express mission is exciting. Since 1995 to 2003, Galileo mission has explored the marine satellite for the first time since the operation of Jupiter. During the mission, it will carry out nearly 50 close -up flights. Obaro Express promises to completely change our understanding of this fascinating world and figure out whether it can become an alien life.

Written at the end: NASA's Obaro Express task completed another big step towards the launch, delivering the main body of the spacecraft to JPL. According to the plan of Obaro Express, it will be launched in October 2024 and will study Jupiter's marine satellite Oroba to find evidence of residence.
