According to the latest report released by the World Meteorological Organization, in 2018, at least 3.6 billion people in the world have faced the dilemma of insufficient water consumption a year each year. This situation lasted until 2050. The number of people in the world is expected to reach 50 100 million. This report pointed out that in the past 20 years, the groundwater surface of the earth has been declining at a rate of 1 cm per year, and the speed of this decline will always be stable, which has a significant impact on global water security.

Maybe everyone will have doubts. Obviously, there are so many water resources on the earth, 70%of the earth is covered by water. Why is it missing water? In fact, most of these water are seawater resources. Safety water that can be consumed directly on the earth is only 3%.

Faced with the problem of water deficiency, scientists have been exploring how to make good use of seawater resources -how to make seawater drink water efficiently?

Unfortunately, the current method of producing drinking water through seawater decreased technology is often high. At present, there are two main methods of diluting seawater: heat method, that is, the use of heat to evaporate seawater to condense seawater into pure water; reverse osmosis method, that is, the use of pressure to force seawater to separate the thin film from a layer of salt to separate water and impurities. Both methods are very energy -consuming.

Recently, researchers at the University of Tokyo used fluke nanim materials for the first time successfully filtering from the water from the water. Compared with the current seawater desalination method, fluorine -nano -channel channels are faster, the need for less pressure, and less energy consumption is a more efficient filter.

The research team created a test filter membrane through chemical nano -grade fluorine rings. The nano -grade fluorine rings were stacked and embedded in an immeasurable lipid layer, similar to organic molecules that make up cell walls. A hair is about 100,000 nanometer wide, and the test sample nano ring produced by the researchers is between 1 and 2 nanometers. In order to test the effectiveness of the membrane, the researchers measured the chlorine ion concentration in salt water on both sides of the membrane.

The results show that test samples are thousands of times faster than typical industrial equipment, which is 2400 times faster than carbon nanotinal dilute experimental equipment. This is because fluorine is an anion, which rejects chloride with anion. It breaks the so -called water group and forms a loose -combined water molecular group, making the fluid through the channel faster. This fluorine water decreases the film is more effective, faster, and more energy required for operation, and it is also very simple to use.

Of course, it takes a long time to study this technology for daily life. It is expected that scientists will continue to study new methods and good methods. I hope that one day, human beings can make good use of marine water resources due to lack of water!
