The scenery of the landscape makes people linger, and rare and plants are also loved. The Kanglong Reserve is known as the "Animal and Plant Gene Library". It has a national first -level key protection wild plant bell, and it is a unique third -class legacy plant unique to China. Because the bell wood is rare, its seeds must be covered in the leaves under the forest to sprout. One year after year, it fell into an endangered state. The Kanglong Reserve has 4 hours of beylum community with a distributed area of ​​40 hectares, which is rare.

The national first -class protection of the south of the plants is evergreen in the four seasons, beautiful trees, and the whole body is treasure. However, under natural conditions, the growth rate is slow, the regeneration ability is poor, and the cooked period is long after the seeds. Therefore, it is difficult to become a forest. Between the Daotang Bay and the water cave in the Kanglong Reserve, there is a southern red bean community distribution. In the Lengxi Canyon and mountains, the red beans in the south were scattered in the broad -leaved forest with a distributed area of ​​more than 60 hectares.

China Kanglong Provincial Nature Reserve, approved in 1996. The protected area is located in the central and southern part of Huaihua City, the west foot of the Xuefeng Mountains, 12 kilometers from the center of Huaihua City, with a total area of ​​7087 hectares and a forest coverage rate of 91%.

The protected area is hailed as the "animal and plant gene library". There are 27 national key protection of wild plants in the district, including 4 types of national first -level key protection wild plants, 23 species of national second -level key protection of wild plants; 249 wild vertebrates, including national first -level key protection wildlife golden cats There are 24 types of national second -level key protection of wild animals such as fine mole warts, tiger frogs, and crickets.
