"Sunshine Epic -Liang Pingbo's Work Donation Exhibition" opened at Zhejiang Art Museum today

The "Love Plateau", "Overseas Style" and "Romantic Characters" and other series of Chinese paintings are representative works, which comprehensively reflect the artists' achievements in Chinese figure painting creation.

Liang Pingbo, born in 1945, Changting, Fujian. He graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts) at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He was the main person in charge of the "Workers, Peasants and Soldier Pictorial" and the Zhejiang People's Fine Arts Publishing House, and later served as Deputy Secretary of the Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the Jiaxing Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, Minister of Publicity Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, Minister of Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China Deputy Secretary and other positions. In December 2021, Liang Pingbo donated his most representative and most powerful 36 large -scale boutiques for his painstaking creation and donated it to the Zhejiang Art Museum for free. The donated works are either large group paintings, or the theme creation giant system, with a wide structure and a grand weather. Among them, the huge long -volume "Entering Tibet" group paintings consisting of 9 pictures, 1.4 meters high and a total length of 32.4 meters, showing 187 lifelike Tibetan characters and the magnificent scenery of the snowy plateau. The work is wonderful, writing emotions, magnificent, and vibrant pictures, vividly reproduce the optimistic spirit of the Tibetan people today. The total scale of this donation work reached 1220 square feet. It is a large -scale free donation project. It has extremely high artistic value and will play an important role in the construction of the Zhejiang art gallery collection system.

During his creation, he discussed with a number of artists and finally completed huge works for a long time. The characters on the screen generally show the ups and downs of spiritual style. It is a roll of epic that is constantly upward in the sun of the motherland. Among the works exhibited this time, not only Tibetans from the plateau, but also the people of Xinjiang and Jiangnan Water Village, there are modern Chinese characters, but also overseas customs such as Egypt, India, Italy.
