From June to August 2006, the Qingzhou Museum and the Shandong Provincial Archaeological Institute jointly formed the archeological team to rescue the funeral pit of the Hanni Han tomb in Qingzhou. A total of more than 2,000 pottery, more than 2,000 bronze and iron weapons. These pottery paintings are well -preserved, large quantity, and high value value. It is rated as one of the important archeological discoveries in the country in 2006.

From the perspective of the tomb area, shape and unearthed utensils, the early Western Han Dynasty, the tomb owner was at least the aristocracy of the Zichuan Kingdom, even the monarch.

There are about 800 large and small figurines in these paintings. There are both horses and standing men and women. The image is lifelike. Their height is only about one -third of the real person, but the proportion is well -proportioned. This is the best batch preserved in the Western Hancai painted pottery figurines unearthed in China.

Painted the male servant figurine, standing standing stood, only 55.5 cm tall, slender body, giving color in the whole body, staring at the front, thin eyebrows, red lips, and peaceful expression. Two black ribbons are still clearly visible. According to expert research, the identity of this female figurine should be a well -trained, quiet and dignified court maid.

There are about 350 paintings unearthed this time, all of which are standing posture, strong body, and stable shape. Moreover, horse heads, ponytails, and horse legs are fired and combined together. It can be seen that Tao Ma was mass -produced at the time, reflecting the superb pottery skills of Chinese Han Dynasty. The craftsmen use red, white, black, purple and other colors to depict the shape of the horse. The patterns on the horse's back are very rare. It is a cushion fixed on the horse's back, called a horse.

In addition to painting pottery figurines and painted horses, this funeral pit also produces about 250 poultry figurines, such as pottery pigs, cattle, sheep, dogs, chickens, etc. They are lying or standing. This painted pottery chicken is very representative. They are painted all over their bodies, their bodies are lying down on the ground, their eyes are looking forward, their necks move forward, and their wings are jumping. These poultry and livestock funeral reflects the longing of the Han Dynasty's wealthy life for grain and chickens and ducks.

In addition, more than 600 sets of rituals and living utensils have been unearthed in the funeral. Most of the utensils include red, white, and purple beautiful paintings. The ear cups and Tao Yan are the representatives.
