In 1940, the Japanese army attacked the border between Myanmar, China, and India. The situation of Kunming tightened. Relevant departments made the Southwest United University prepared for the relocation school. At that time, the Sichuan Provincial Government suggested that the site was selected in the south of Sichuan, but there was no place where there was no place for town along the south of Sichuan. At that time, the houses rented by the Yongxian School of the Southwest were basically temples and ancestral halls in the city. In the next decades, due to the changes in cultural thoughts and urban transformation, most of the temples and ancestral halls have not existed. The classmates live in ancient temples. Some temples have long been chaotic. Dozens of students are crowded in a dormitory. They are ventilated in all walls, cold and hot in winter, and often mosquito and bug attacks. Eat a lot of brown rice with sand and dishes that do not see oil stars. Xu Yuqing from the Philippine overseas Chinese, Xu Yuqing, died in Xuyong because of his illness, and presented a young life, and was in the city of Heiya Bay (now the suburbs of the city). Under such conditions, a large number of talents have been cultivated in the Southwest Lord of the University. Among them, many students participated in the Yuanzheng Army from Rong and moved to the front line of the Anti -Japanese War. Many people later became well -known scholars, experts, and professors at home and abroad. The spirit of the Southwest United University has germinated in Xu Yongsheng and wrote an unforgettable page. It is still a model for the study of the Syonong students.

In mid -August 1941, the Southwest Union Conference meeting decided to withdraw from the Southwest Union Sydaline Campus. Students moved back to Kunming to go to school. In late October, he decided to move back to Kunming first.
