The students in the textbook are clear, simple, lively and cute, and polite. Textbook illustrations can attract the attention of the public, and it is also due to its particularity.

Textbook illustrations have its special features. Lu Boyou, editor and educator of the Chinese Book Company, believes: "Literature textbooks and scientific textbook illustrations should be different. The illustrations of literary textbooks are only appreciation of the beauty of children; the illustrations of scientific textbooks focus on the real objects. The purpose is different, and the trend of the map should be clearly clear. "

The author believes that first of all, the textbook illustrations are different from the art works displayed in the art museum. Although both have the aesthetic role as Lu Xun said "moving humanity" and "cultivating people's feelings", textbook illustrations are often limited by content. The exercise step map in the textbook, the experimental operation process chart in the science textbook, etc. Even the illustrations in historical textbooks reflect the characters of different historical periods, and their hair accessories, clothing, and utensils must be in line with the characteristics of the history at that time.

Secondly, the textbook illustration is different from the illustrations in ordinary children's classics, and should not be too emphasized. To this end, the shape of the characters in the textbook illustration should not be too exaggerated and deformed, and it should meet the general aesthetic habits of the public. Especially when the textbook illustrations appear revolutionary leaders, heroes, scientists and other characters, they should be expressed in a realistic way.

Secondly, the textbook illustrations are different from fashion magazine illustrations. Personal clothes, hair accessories, etc. should not be too fashionable, or use gold, silver, silver, powder and so on, to reflect a simple and elegant spiritual temperament. Therefore, textbook illustrations should put the positive energy transferred to the first place.

Finally, the drawing of the textbook illustration is different from the artist's creation of art works. It should be based on the line drawing method, and try to use light and dark painting to make the illustrations look simple and clear. It should be based on elegant and fresh colors to avoid the impact on the content of the textbooks.

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping has attached great importance to the construction of textbooks, and has taken it as a "national power" coordinating planning, carefully arranging, and paying close attention to implementation. But for a long time, we lack in -depth research on textbook illustrations, and lack professional evaluation standards for teaching materials illustration review. To this end, the author urges to strengthen research on the style, practicality, and artistic characteristics of textbook illustrations.
