Old traffic staff Chen Qingjin: Recalling the red spirit of the revolution in Nanxi

Recently, the volunteers of the Putian College Time Team went to Nanxi Village, Revolutionary Village, Bangtou Town, Xianyou County, and visited Chen Qingjin, a 93 -year -old old traffic staff to recall the Nanxi Revolutionary Storm of the War of Liberation.

On the same day, Chen Qingjin was wearing a dark Zhongshan dress, sitting on the bamboo stool at the door, and a crutch leaning against the wall. Seeing the person, he was still excited to meet with his legs and feet.

Nanxi Village is located 3 kilometers northwest of the Government of Bangsou Town. The mountains and rivers of the mountains and Huludu Mountain are beautiful, and the climate conditions are mild. The original place name is Zixi, named An Xianli during the Republic of China. In 1958, it was the Nanxi Brigade, and in 1984, the Nanxi Village Committee was established.

In July 1947, after the mid -Fujian guerrilla column faced Dai Yunshan, the Kuomintang Xianyou local authorities stepped up the damage to the Xianyou County Working Committee of the Communist Party of China and the district traffic stations. As the revolutionary forces in the East District of Xianyou have repeatedly been destroyed by the Kuomintang authorities and its army, the revolutionary activities in the East District have been at a low tide for a long time.

In the autumn of 1948, in order to strengthen the armed struggle in the Xianyou area, the CPC Middle -Earth Commission sent Lin Chunnian, Liu Zongfu and others to return to Xianyou to carry out revolutionary work. They have established revolutionary strongholds in the list of the Eastern District, Yangshan, Nanxi, Qinshan and other places, developed a number of farmers 'backbones, and formed some farmers' organizations, laying the foundation for the establishment of the Eastern guerrillas.

Chen Qingjin was born in the era of war in 1929. Because of his poor family, he has not received orthodox education.

In October 1948, 19 -year -old Chen Qingjin joined the revolutionary team and became an underground transporter. "At that time, there were a lot of children in the family and very poor. After receiving the party's land revolution mobilization of the party on the average distribution of the population, he immediately decided to join the revolution." Chen Qingjin recalled.

Chen Qingjin said that his task was to send the important letters of the organization to the superior. "Where is the superior leader, I will send the letter, and the mission will be reached."

In early 1949, in order to cope with the war in front of the Kuomintang, the Kuomintang reactionary government had raised grain, taxation, and troops in its ruling district. In February, the Kuomintang Xianyou County Government carried out a "three signs" in the county, making the people struggling on the hunger and cold line worse again. At the same time, the CCP's Fujian -China Working Committee proposed the strategic policy of "letting go of development and bold attack", actively launched the organizational struggle to organize the masses and crushed the "three signs" plan of the Kuomintang authorities. From mid -February, the party organizations and guerrillas in various districts of Xianyou have launched the masses extensively, burning the flames, and widely set off the anti -"three signs" struggle.

During this period, Chen Qingjin was a line between the guerrillas and the masses. He passed the news and guided the villagers to cooperate with the party organization's action deployment.

After the Kuomintang's "three signs" was blocked, the Kuomintang immediately transferred the County Self -Defense Brigade to assist in the implementation of the "Three Expeditions" with force. In response to this new struggle, the party organization has adopted the strategy of struggling with both tit -for -tat, public struggle, and randomly responding to the tactics, and quickly established a liaison network in various townships.

Chen Qingjin took the danger discovered by the Kuomintang, adhered to his post, and provided effective intelligence and letter communication for party organizations and folks to transfer positions, and also made important contributions to the guerrillas afterwards.

Chen Qingjin officially joined the Communist Party of China in May 1953. From 1950 to 1985, he successively served as chairman of Nanxi Village Nanxi Township, Secretary of the Nanxi Township Regiment, the Military Commander of the Nanxi Brigade, the party branch secretary of the Nanxi Brigade, and the captain of Nanxi Brigade. In May 1960, he also went to Beijing to participate in the National Militarian Congress and was interviewed by the main leaders of the central government.

Talking about the current life, Chen Qingjin said that the government will issue a living subsidy for the "Five Old" personnel every month, and the life is quite comfortable. Welcome young people to come to the village to see him, remember the red past, and inherit the spirit of the revolution.
