The Palace Museum launched the Taihe Scholars Program

On August 29, the Palace Museum held a press conference to officially launch the Taihe Scholar Plan to recruit visiting scholars for the country (border). Wang Xudong, a member of the party group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Dean of the Palace Museum, attended the press conference.
The Taihe scholars plan to be divided into two parts: academic visit and academic visit, which is funded by Huang Tingfang Charity Fund. Among them, academic visit plans to support and fund -China (border) senior researchers and young researchers who engaged in related research abroad went to the Palace Museum to carry out academic research and academic exchanges for 3 to 6 months. State (border) foreign -funded researchers and young researchers engaged in Chinese history, culture and related research can declare. In 2023, the Palace Museum intends to recruit 1 to 5 scholars from the country (border), and provide basic living security and academic research conditions for the recruitment of Taihe Scholars.
The academic visits plan support and fund the senior researchers and young researchers of the Palace Museum to carry out academic research and academic exchanges outside the country (border), with a term of 3 to 12 months. In 2023, the Palace Museum will send 1 to 5 Taihe scholars to the country (border) to carry out academic visits and exchanges.
Wang Xudong said that the Taihe Scholars Plan is an international academic exchange project and talent training project launched by the Palace Museum uphold the concept of innovation, openness and sharing.
