Xinhua News Agency, Tianjin, September 9th (Reporter Zhou Runjian) "Summer retreats, Jiuxiao, Qiucheng Wanjingqing", September 10 is the Mid -Autumn Festival. Most of the Mid -Autumn Festival is very close to the National Day, but this year's Mid -Autumn Festival is obviously a bit early, and there are 20 days before the National Day. Astronomical popular science experts said that the Mid -Autumn Festival this year was the earliest in the 18 years from 2015 to 2032, and it was "early and Mid -Autumn Festival".

The Mid -Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, Reunion Festival, etc., evolved from the autumn Festival in ancient times. As one of the traditional festivals in my country, it was not until the beginning of the Tang Dynasty that the Mid -Autumn Festival officially appeared as a festival. It gradually prevailed in the Song Dynasty and became the main festival in my country in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The Mid -Autumn Festival entrusts people to pray for the good year of the wind, the grain, the happiness of the reunion, and the good moon.

Zhao Zhizheng, a member of the Chinese Astronomical Society and a director of the Tianjin Astronomical Society, introduced that the Mid -Autumn Festival is a lunar holiday, and the Gregorian date corresponding to the lunar calendar is not fixed. Statistics from 1901 to 2100 showed that the Calendar Date corresponding to the Mid -Autumn Festival can be as early as September 7 and the latest on October 8. Therefore, every day from September 7th to October 8th every year from the Gregorian calendar is the Mid -Autumn Festival.

As far as the 100th century of the 21st century, the latest Mid -Autumn Festival appeared on October 6th of the Gregorian calendar, with a total of 4 times, in 2006, 2025, 2063, and 2082; the earliest Mid -Autumn Festival appeared in September 7th of the Gregorian calendar. On the day, it is only once, 2052. The Mid -Autumn Festival appeared on September 8th of the Gregorian calendar, with a total of 4 times, in 2014, 2033, 2071, and 2090; the Mid -Autumn Festival appeared on September 9th of the Gregorian calendar, two times, 2060 and 2098. From this point of view, although the Mid -Autumn Festival is not the earliest this year, it is a bit early.

It is worth mentioning that the Mid -Autumn Festival this year from 2015 to 2032 was the earliest in the Gregorian calendar. The reason why it is so limited is that the Gregorian calendar corresponding to the Mid -Autumn Festival in 2014 and 2033 is September 8.

Although the Mid -Autumn Festival has changed early or late during the Gregorian calendar, this does not affect the charm of people's feelings. In 2006, the Mid -Autumn Festival was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists in my country. For more than ten years, the traditional culture contained in the Mid -Autumn Festival has been discovered and passed on.
