Jimu reporter interviewed Liu Shouhua, which was conducted in the conference room of the School of Literature of the Chinese Normal University before the ceremony.

Faced with the step ladder leading to the conference room, the white -haired old man with a slightly stubborn body insisted on not allowing anyone to support it. The firm back in front of the eyes is like the "climbing" that is silently demonstrated in silence.

"I love folk stories, and I am always happy and forget to work in the folk literary school."

Those who have traveled through thousands of mountains and rivers all their lives, looking for people who create spiritual wealth, are constantly creating spiritual wealth for us;

Those who listen to stories in their lives also tell us about him and folk literature and art.

"Collecting Honghu Revolutionary Ballads Cultivation of my early interest"

Reporter: You said, "I have won an accident, the era of gratitude. The longevity is longevity, and the dedication." When does this art that makes you intoxicated?

Liu Shouhua: I grew up in the countryside of the Jianghan Plain, spent my childhood in the anti -Japanese beacon, and loved this grassroots art from folk songs, opera, stories and legends since childhood.

In 1950, I was admitted to the Puyang Normal School in Xinshang Town, Honghu. During the school, I preliminated the enlightenment knowledge of folk verbal literature from the "New Collection of Folk Literature and Art" compiled by Mr. Zhong Jingwen. Later, I began to collect folk literature in Honghu, mainly referring to folk songs. This process cultivated my interest in the early days of folk literature.

At that time, the Honghu Revolutionary Ballad was very influential in the country and was compiled into a Chinese textbook. Most of the revolutionary ballads in Honghu narrative, exciting, I am deeply infected, and "He Longjun" is a representative work.

"Sleeping until the middle of the night, the door was in the door, and the mother -in -law sat up and listened along the ears." More than a dozen words outlined the typical small scenery of life in the years of the deserted horses. "Don't have tea, but not shocked the people, just listen to the sound of the feet, and don't listen to the sound." In the small scene, the old man who was full of worries was determined by his ears, and he suddenly judged what the army was, so he turned from fear to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn to to turn into Surprise, quickly awakened their children and grandchildren. "Don't be afraid, this is He Longjun, you get up with your daughter -in -law, light a lamp at the door, and follow the road, comrades are good for marching!"

I sent some of the collective ballads to Beijing's "Talking and Singing" magazine, including this "He Longjun". In 1952, I also published the prose "The Singing of the Fishermen in Honghu" and published the Hubei Daily. This article was published in the National Day special issue of the Hubei Daily, which gradually formed a preliminary willingness to devote me to the cause of folk literature.

Later, I was selected by my alma mater to the Chinese Department of Huazhong Normal University (later Huazhong Normal University) Chinese Department. When I was studying, the Party Central Committee called on the majority of young students to enter science in 1956. On July 1 that year, I joined the Communist Party of China. The application was approved by the organization. At this point, my professional interest and the oath of joining the party were fused in folk literature and art.

Reporter: After graduating, you stay in school to teach, compiled the textbooks of "Folk Literature", offers folk literature courses, and undertake many national scientific research topics such as "History of Chinese Folk Stories", "Comparison Story", "Types and Heritage of Chinese Folk Stories". Since 1981, you have been the vice chairman and chairman of the Hubei Provincial Folk Literature and Art Association for 20 years. From stepping into the door of folk literature and art, you have been contributing to the cause of folk literature and keep walking. During the work, you have published more than 400 research papers for folk literature. This year, you have published more than 4.6 million words of works, 10 volumes of "Liu Shouhua Story Collection". Persevere in your original intention with your life, what is your motivation?

Liu Shouhua: I concluded, personal interests, teachers' occupation and social responsibility, and the combination of the three enables me to persist in the present for more than 60 years.

I have written a small text: "I experienced the wind and rain in this garden, and I wouldn't work hard. In this" Trinity ", I would be happy and worried. It is often difficult to achieve successfully, I can say one of the lucky children. "The data map

It is very proud that after the founding of the People's Republic of China, the first literary and art group was the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Research Association (the predecessor of the Chinese Folk Literary and Artists Association), and it was recommended that Mr. Guo Moruo was the first chairman. I joined the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Research Association in 1958.

The development of Chinese folk literature and art is full of cultural concepts of the Communist Party of China. The prominent feature is that they attach importance to the rural areas of farmers and respect the historical and cultural creation of farmers.

"If you weren't for discovering, maybe he was buried in the ground and rotten."

Reporter: Folk literature and art have always been inseparable from rural areas. You have traveled to the countryside many times to follow folk artists. During his position as the vice chairman and chairman of the Hubei Provincial Civil Association, you recorded and promoted the very representative "three villages" in the field of folk literature and art in Hubei (the storyteller Liu Depei, Liu Defang, Sun Jiaxiang, and Wujiagou folk story village, Lujiahe folk song folk song Village, Qinglin Temple Riddle Village). In the 10th volume of "Liu Shouhua Story School Collection", you mentioned that during the decades of studying the garden, more than a dozen of many scholars who have formed a friendly teacher friendship have passed away. Ji Xianlin also has Liu Depei, a farmer storyman of the western Hubei, and Sun Jiaxiang, a Tujia female story. In this volume, you wrote "Snow Night Farewell" to remember the funeral of Liu Depei. On the night of wind and snow, you have a "mourning" farewell with the villagers who are nearly old, and do not sleep overnight. "I got out of the team and stood aside to rest. At this time, the young woman in the white and filial piety immediately came forward, kneeled on her knees, and held up a pot of hot water. Please wipe my sweat. She was Liu. The old Sun daughter -in -law, it turned out that this was the traditional etiquette of each funeral for each funeral. I couldn't help crying for a while, and she was about to stand up. Then squeeze into the ranks of jumping funeral again. " It is hard to cry. Talk about these folk stories.

Data map

Liu Shouhua: Liu Depei was born poor. Since his youth, he has worked in more than ten counties in the west of Hunan and Hubei and has worked in more than ten kinds of lives to make a living. He has lived in the old China for 37 years, lived in the People's Republic of China for 41 years, and has a rich experience in social life. He is optimistic and cheerful, never sighs in the hardships and hardships, and is good at telling comedy stories. When he tells, he seems to be in a carelessness. In fact, the design is clever and exhausted. , It's a play with a mouth.

Liu Depei's story later published a book, which attracted great attention across the country, and UNESCO visited specifically. His wife said, "That old man, if it wasn't for you to discover, maybe he would be buried in the ground and rotten."

Sun Jiaxiang was not literate and did not go out of the door throughout her life. She liked to listen to the story at her mother's house. She has strong memory, rich emotions and imagination, and can tell more than 300 stories. We heard that her afterwards took the students to visit. At that time, at the age of 78, she was still working in the ground. After being called by her family, she didn't even remove her hat after returning home, so she began to talk endlessly that we didn't even have a chance to intercept. Why? Because she was too happy, she usually talked about these things, and was often said to be nonsense and looked down on. Now the provincial experts and scholars come to listen to her story, and she talks down. Later we found that she was indeed a very talented folk story.

Many stories hidden in the people, after our investigation and research, have received the attention of the country, and the government's preferential treatment has played their role as the storyteller. This is a bit of dedication to these unknown people in the past, but the most fundamental thing is that they created huge spiritual wealth for us, so these research results are also tribute to them.

We learn literature and hear foreign "Green Fairy". Later, we found that there are actually many elderly people who can tell stories in China. We call these old people who can tell stories as national treasures.

Let more people see Chinese folk stories that are tied with "Green Fairy"

Reporter: According to Huang Yonglin, the former vice president of Huazhong Normal University, in 2002, 67 -year -old you had a car accident during a folk story investigation in the mountainous area of Xiangxi, Hunan, causing three ribs to exercise, and a metal piece inserted into the forehead. The doctor told it afterwards that if it was not for the timely rescue, I was afraid of worrying. Everyone is worried about you, but the first thing you ask after returning to your consciousness is whether the recording draft of the research is intact. Hearing this, the people present were crying. For you, no matter where, folk stories are especially cherished treasures.

Data map

Liu Shouhua: folk stories are a kind of verbal language form that people are very familiar with and love. Many stories accompany people to spend wonderful childhood and brand unforgettable impression on their hearts. If it is highly summarized, folk stories are also the soul of a country and nation, a window of the soul. The story inherits humans, some beautiful things of the nation, and cultural genes in it.

The great Chinese nation has bred a variety of folk stories on the ancient and profound cultural fertile soil. Since the 1980s, folk literature census has been conducted. The world is rare. According to incomplete statistics, it has reached more than 1.83 million, in fact far exceeding this number. This is really a huge and extremely rich valuable national cultural wealth. "Pangu Cut Python Kaitian Earth", "Lie Mountain Shennong", "Yao Wang Chuan Shun", "Tieguang Li San Test Li Shizhen", "Fan Dan Ask the Buddha", "The Girl of Cabbage", "Luban Making Wooden Kite", "White Water Success Girl) ... … So I am not only doing research, writing theoretical articles, but also selected some folk story reading books. In recent years, it was published by the Yangtze River Literature and Art Publishing House and was included in the designated reading of the newly written textbooks of the Ministry of Education. Seeing the classics of "One Thousand and One Nights" and "Green Fairy", this is the inheritance of our own culture.
