I have been in the past ten years | Yu Jingyuan: My memory of the Red Tower of Peking University

I am from Beijing. I have lived in Xinhua News Agency's courtyard since I was a child. From Xidan to West Fourth, from Beihai Park to Beach, and then go home along Beihe to Chang'an Street. This is the route that Grandpa loves to take me to bend, because the attractions and historical buildings on the way are the best materials for my grandfather to give me "class". In my childhood impression, there were endless stories on the way.

Among them, my memory of Peking University's Red Tower is the most profound. I remember when I came here for the first time, I asked my grandpa: Isn't Peking University on the west? Grandpa told me that this red building was the former site of Peking University, where Chairman Mao worked, and one of the birthplaces of our party. Grandpa's words made me a deep respect for this red building. Grandpa is an old party member and old soldier who participated in the liberation war. He always said to me during his lifetime: "You must also actively join the party when you grow up to contribute to the country and serve the people."

During the college, I was glorious to join the party and did not live up to my grandfather's expectations. In 2010, after graduating from college, I became a journalist and started to work in the news I love. The units I have worked in the "Seeking" Courtyard Western Courtyard in the Courtyard of "Shi Shi", which is "Red Heart Institute". This is part of the old site of Beida, and it is also where Mr. Cai Yuanpei worked. In my opinion, the new cultural movement at the beginning of the last century, and the May 4th Movement to the history of our party was closer. In the 10 years of working in the "Red Heart Institute", as long as I have time, I will go to the Red Mansion to turn around to constantly review the history and feel the spirit it shows.

Last year, after learning that the Beida Red Tower was renovated after more than a year of repairs, I was very excited. I remember in July, I was on the scorching sun. I rode a bicycle from the new work place in the Magazine in the East Third Ring Road to visit the theme exhibition of the "Glory and Morning Red Propagoscular Poster -Peking University Red Tower and the Communist Party of China" in the early Beijing Revolution. " This exhibition gave me a huge shock.

The restoration of the Red Mansion showed 6 old sites including the Library Director Room of Comrade Li Dazhao, the second reading room worked by Chairman Mao, and the literary and scientific long rooms worked by Comrade Chen Duxiu. Many old objects of the year were displayed in the old site. When I was standing in these recovered rooms, I thought that when my ancestors had actively discussed thinking for the Chinese revolution, the May 4th Movement of the May 4th Movement, and the establishment of the Communist Party of the Communist Party of Beijing, the interaction of the grand historical events and the real location made me have a one. The imagination of time and space shuttles, it is difficult for me to shed tears of excitement.

I remembered the path that Grandpa took me by childhood and what he said to me: "Contribute to the country more and serve the people." His plain words are the powerful motivation to motivate me to work hard. As General Secretary Xi Jinping said: "Everything goes forward, you can't forget the path you have walked; no matter how far, you can't forget the past, you can't forget why you set off."

After the visit, when I was about to leave, I saw a group of middle school students walking into the exhibition hall to visit, and listened to the description of the interpreter. They were like me as a child, but they were persistent, and made me see that the red blood was more vigorous.
