According to statistical data, in 2021 fictional paper books, the top 100 online literature works accounted for 31 seats in the top 100 sales volume, and the top 100 new online literature works in the new book accounted for 63 seats. These data can't help but think about why online literature is so popular in the paper book market? From online serialization to paper publishing, how should the author and publisher give new value of online literature? From the process of serializing the previous type novels from serialization to publishing, we found that Jin Yong's novels have provided some different inspiration from the experience of serialization of newspapers and magazines to revised and publishing.

The road published by online literature paper

In fact, paper publishing has always been one of the important ways to spread Chinese online literature. For more than 20 years, the paper publishing of online literature has gone through three stages, and each stage has its own focus on the choice of leading forces and publishing content.

From 1997 to 2002, it was the first stage of online literature paper publishing. At this time, most of the online literature is the amateur creation of literary lovers. Only a small amount of well -known novels and prose have received paper publishing opportunities. After 2003, online literature has gradually commercialized, and paper publishing has become an important profitable way for online literature production. This state lasted until around 2014, constituting the second stage of online literary paper publication. At this time, the works published are mainly novels such as fantasy, fantasy, romance, and fairy. Depending on the different power, paper publishing at this stage can be divided into two modes. After three stages of development, online literature paper publication is more refined and the connection with the film and television industry is also closer. Good online literature works have become scarce resources for all parties. Publishing parties have "gold rush" online like before, and the possibility of creating "explosive books" of online literature alone is getting smaller and less. The dependence on the "IP development" of online literature has hidden crisis under the lively scene of the current publication of online literature. The concept of conversion, getting rid of dependence, and the new value of online literature through paper publishing is a possible way for online literature paper.

For online writers, paper publishing can modify the omissions and make up for regrets
