The Sanxingdui site is located in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, with an area of ​​about 12 square kilometers and was first discovered in the 1920s. Since 2020, the Sichuan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology, Peking University, Sichuan University and other scientific research institutions and universities formed a joint archeological team. It was discovered and discovered next to the "sacrifice pit" No. 1 and 2. Six "sacrifice pits" from No. 8.

At present, the "sacrifice pit" on Sanxingdui No. 3 and 4 has ended the field excavation. The "sacrifice pit" on 5th and 6th is being cleaned out of the indoor cleaning of cultural relics. The cultural relics announced this time are mainly concentrated on the 7th and 8th "sacrifice pit". Among them, the No. 7 "Sacrifice Pit" discovered the turtle -shaped mesh -shaped mesh of the archaeologist called the "Moonlight Treasure Box". Dingzhang dragon shape, small copper phoenix birds, bronze standing people, copper bells, etc.

There are more large bronze wares close to No. 8 "Sacrifice Pit", including golden mask copper head, copper portrait of the top snake, exquisite copper altar, and "machine dog". , Copper Dragon, Copper Portrait of the "Big Back of Skirts", Copper Pig Nose Dragon, Copper ivory Portrait, Copper Templar Covered, Shi Ji, etc. several cultural relics are the first time in the world.

In addition to the cultural relics visible to the naked eye, archeologists also found silk, bamboo, reeds, soybeans, and ox and wild boars through modern technology. Around the eight "sacrifice pits", it was also found ash ditch, building foundation, and small sacrifice pits. The unearthed gold wares, collar copper, kneeling stone tiger, kneeling stone people, turquoise and ivory and other precious cultural relics.

The protection and restoration of unearthed cultural relics is also underway. The construction of the Sanxingdui Museum with an area of ​​66 acres is expected to be completed in 2023. After the completion, the public can meet the cultural relics in the museum's "open" restoration hall.
