China's first largest super -large container ship is delivered in Shanghai

On June 22, China ’s first largest 24,000teu super large container ship signed and delivered to the Shanghai East China Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd.

The ship was independently designed by Shanghai East China and has complete independent intellectual property rights.The ship is admitted to the American Class (ABS) at the class, and will serve routes from the Far East to Europe after operation.The total length of the ship is 399.99 meters, which is more than 60 meters longer than the world's largest aircraft carrier; 61.5 meters wide and 24,000 square meters, equivalent to 3.5 standard football fields;It can load more than 24,000 standard containers at a time, and the maximum number of boxes can reach 25 floors, which is equivalent to the height of 22 floors. It is currently the largest container ship in the world. It is known as the "giant" at sea.
