According to the 32nd joint patrol plan of China -Vietnam Beibu Gulf, on June 22, the Chinese Navy Pakistani and Enshi Ship formed a joint patrol with the Vietnamese naval ships in the Beibu Gulf waters, and organized joint search and rescue drills.

At 8 am, the joint patrol ships of China and Vietnam arrived at the assembly position respectively. After using the international channel communication school waves and attracting mutual welcome words, the double -horizontal team began cross patrol along the North Bay China -Vietnam Sea boundary line. During the joint patrol, the ships of the two sides strengthened information sharing and notified each other's information elements such as hydrological weather, sea and air conditions, and formation speed of the patrol seaside area. In order to improve the joint patrol organization command procedures and strengthen the ability of maritime cooperation, the two sides also converted the command relationship with each other and alternated command.

After the exercise, the two sides jointly threw a fake person to throw the fake people in the joint patrol ships, simulating the water of the dangerous fishing vessels, and then communicated with each other to share the position, dangerous situation and meteorological conditions of the dangerous ships. After obtaining the relevant information, the two parties jointly went to the target area to start search and rescue before the two sides jointly went to the target area respectively. During the period, the ship officers and soldiers continued to strengthen observation of the sea. After discovering the goals, they immediately launched rescue and reported the search and rescue results.

China ’s joint patrol formation commander Li Wuyi said that the routes of the Beibuwan waters are dense, and there are many past merchant ships and operating fishing vessels. The corresponding search and rescue drills have important practical significance for maritime safety risks and emergencies. In this exercise, the ships of the two sides closely communicated and cooperated with tacit understanding, which not only promoted professional exchanges, but also deepened the mutual trust and cooperation between the two navy.

It is understood that the joint patrol was the 32nd joint patrol of China -Vietnam Navy's Beibu Gulf Candidate Agreement in 2005. In the early stage, the two sides actively strengthened communication and organized the connection of joint patrol plans to lay a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of maritime tasks. On the basis of normalized joint patrols, the naval ships of the two countries will also conduct drills around communication exercises, formation movements and other subjects.
