Academic Report of Academician Wang Yizheng was held at Nanhua University

On the morning of July 23, the academic report of Academician Wang Yizheng was held in the academic lecture hall of Nanhua University Library. Zhang Zhuohua, president of Nanhua University, attended the report. The opening ceremony was chaired by Xia Kun, a member of the party committee and vice president.

Academician Wang Yizheng made the "Sonic Hedgehog and Glutamate XCitotoxicity in Ischemia" theme report to the teachers and students present, which introduced the main scientific research work and clinical application analysis of the laboratory that he hosted in recent years. After the report, he interacted with the teachers and students on the scene.

Brief introduction: Wang Yizheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the winner of the "Outstanding Talent Fund" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the vice chairman of the Chinese Society of neuroscience. He is currently a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Military Medical Sciences of the People's Liberation Army and a researcher at Huashan Hospital of Fudan University. Study the mechanism of survival/death in the direction and detection of brain -like objects. It has carried out systematic research on the functions of "TRPC channels in brain development", "TRPC channels in ischemic brain damage", "TRPC protein and abeta", etc. The main results are published in Nature Neuroscience, Nature, Nature Communication, Molecular Psychiatry, Journal Clinical Investigation, Science Translational Medicine and other international authoritative journals.
