2022 National Volkswagen Frozen Week is held in Shijingshan Power Plant Road Primary School

In order to advocate students and parents to participate in the ice and snow sports more extensively, on August 8, 2022, the National Fitness Day and 2022 National Popular Frozen Week event hosted by the National Sports Administration's Winter Sports Management Center were held at the Power Plant Primary School in Shijingshan District, Beijing.

Nearly 70 students from 25 households from Shijingshan District Power Plant Road Primary School in Beijing participated in the event. They participated in 7 7, dry land curling, dry land ice hockey, ice hockey shot, ice coat, dry land skiing, dry land snow vehicles, etc. In the experience of the project, the school also designed a commemorative certificate and entry card for the event, prepared souvenirs, and further stimulated the enthusiasm of students and parents to participate in ice and snow sports and enhance parent -child relationships.

In recent years, as the only ice and snow school named after the State General Administration of Sport, based on the educating concept of "a must not be involved in the ice and snow sports", we strive to allow every student and parents to enjoy the happiness brought by the ice and snow sports. The school has also continued to play a leading role in demonstration, opens the "curling hall" to the society, and has popularized curling movement. As of now, nearly a thousand people have experienced curling exercise.

In the future, the school will thoroughly excavate the educational elements in the spirit of the Beijing Winter Olympics, integrate into the educating practice of "five education" of virtue, wisdom, physical, beautiful, and labor, and continuously improve the quality and level of Lishu people.
