On August 15, the Higher Education Evaluation Institution of Soft Sciences released the "2022 Soft Science World University Academic Ranking".The ranking shows the world's leading 1,000 research universities. A total of 163 universities in Mainland China are on the list, of which 8 of them are ranked in the top 100 in the world, an increase of 1 than last year.

Tsinghua University ranks the highest in Mainland China and ranks 26th in the world.Peking University ranked 11th, ranking 34th in the world.Zhejiang University ranked 16th, ranking among the top 50 in the world for the first time, ranking 36th in the world.

Huazhong University of Science and Technology ranks 96th in the world, with Wuhan University in 150 worldwide, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Huazhong Agricultural University, and Wuhan University of Science and Technology ranked worldwide.
