In 2022, Tsinghua University admitted more than 3,400 mainland students, more than 80 students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and about 200 international students from about 33 countries and regions around the world.

It is understood that Tsinghua University has launched three new special enrollment projects this year.

Chen Qixin, Director of the Undergraduate Admissions Office of Tsinghua University: The first project was the undergraduate enrollment of Marxist theory, the first time this year. The second innovative project is clinical medicine. We originally called medical experimental classes. This year, it has been upgraded and enrolled. The third is that we have established a new academy of engineering this year as the first academy, hoping to cultivate researchers, practitioners and industry leaders of science and technology in the most cutting -edge field.

In 2022, Tsinghua University continued to create opportunities for self -strengthening students from rural and special plans to implement the region, and admitted a total of 440 students in the national special plan and self -improvement plan.
