Registrations are not restricted by age, occupation, ethnic, race, and education, and can select the corresponding levels and subjects according to their own learning situation and actual ability.Candidates can report up to three subjects in the same test, but they are not allowed to apply for the same subject repeatedly.Candidates can only be applied for the same province (cities) in the same provincial (cities) in the same time, otherwise they will be processed according to illegal regulations.

According to relevant national regulations, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents' residence permits are valid identity documents. Candidates holding the document can register normally and take the NCRE test.
