The two schools of Xiaoyi were awarded the "Beidou Science Popularization Base"

A few days ago, Xiaoyi Middle School of Xiaoyi City and Jinhui Primary School were successfully selected into the first batch of "Beidou Science Popularization Base" in 2022, becoming the only county -level city in the Beidou science base on the list of Shanxi Province.

It is reported that the Beidou Science Popular Education Base is the joint selection of the Satellite Navigation Research Center of the Ministry of Education, the Peking University Digital China Research Institute and the "Beidou Cup" National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Contest. Encourage more young people to participate in the establishment of Beidou science education activities.

In 2022, the first batch of Beidou Science Popularization Base Declaration work selected a group of social institutions such as primary and secondary schools, universities, scientific research institutes, and enterprise institutions with the foundation and development potential of science popularization work through voluntary declaration and unified review. Under the guidance, the popularization and dissemination of the Beidou satellite navigation science and technology will be carried out. In order to improve the scientific quality of the whole people, the role of Beidou science demonstration guidance is formed in the society.
