Southwest Jiaotong University and the National Supercomputing Chengdu Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement

On June 23, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony of Southwest Jiaotong University and the National Supercomputing Chengdu Center (hereinafter referred to as Chengdu Supercomputing Center) was held at the Chengdu Supercomputing Center. Shen Huoming and Kang Guozheng of the Party Committee of Southwest Jiaotong University, deputy principals, Chen Gang, deputy director of the Chengdu Science and Technology Bureau, and Li Chaolin, deputy general manager of Chengdu Industrial Group, attended related activities.

Before the signing ceremony, Shen Huoming and his party visited the exhibition hall and host system of Chengdu Supercomputing Center to understand the functional positioning, computing power scale, and application effectiveness of Chengdu Supercomputing Center.

At the ceremony, Shen Huoming said that the signing of the contract is a new beginning of school -enterprise cooperation. The school will rely on the software and hardware resources of the Chengdu Supercomputing Center to carry out scientific research, continuously expand the depth and breadth of school -enterprise cooperation, cultivate high -quality scientific research results, and will be the results of high -quality scientific research. The cooperation between Southwest Jiaotong University and Chengdu Supercomputing Center is a benchmark project in Southwest and even the country.

Li Chaolin pointed out that the two sides will carry out in -depth cooperation around the fields of research and development and application of domestic software, talent training and other fields, and jointly explore the establishment of joint laboratories and joint research and development centers.

Under the witness of the participants, Tan Jianxin, Director of the Domestic Cooperation and Education and Training Management Division, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Gu Qin, general manager of Chengdu Big Data Group and chairman of the supercomputing operation company. Li Xiangyu, dean of the School of Mechanics and Aerospace, and Gu Qin, general manager of Chengdu Big Data Group and chairman of the supercomputing operation company, signed a major project cooperation agreement for the Natural Science Foundation of China.

Subsequently, Kang Guozheng and Li Chaolin were unveiled on behalf of both sides of the "Multi -scale Simulation Joint Research Center".

After the signing and unveiling ceremony, Professor Zhang Xu, assistant to the dean of the Academy of Mechanics and Aerospace, introduced the major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of the National Natural Sciences of the Southwest Jiaotong University. He said that the school hopes that with the computing power resources and technical services of Chengdu Supercomputing Center, the school will finally achieve the long -term service life of the two typical materials and structures of high -speed rail axles and solid batteries, so that the technology will reach the leading level in China.
