This phenomenon is not the first time, nor is it unique to Beijing. In recent years, similar phenomena have appeared in the middle school entrance examinations in many places, but this year is particularly prominent.

This is the change brought about by the reform of the middle school entrance examination. The clear signal it passed out is: to replace the selection test, dehumidaries, and distinguish in the horizontal test. According to the explanation of relevant departments, implementing the "double reduction" is one of the important reasons.

In this regard, I want to talk about a different view.

First, if you understand the "double reduction" as a "subtraction", it is the biggest misunderstanding of "double reduction".

The "double reduction" is first to make additional methods in the school, improve the quality of education in the school, give full play to the role of the school's main position, and maximize the education needs of students, including diverse education needs, and allow students to learn to return to campus. Secondly, it is to subtract the law, subtract unnecessary in -course assignment burden, and the burden of extracurricular tutoring. How to improve the quality of education in the school, allow students to learn to return to campus to the greatest extent, instead of reducing standards and making everyone a sense of scores, which is the key to the success or failure of "double reduction".

Second, can the difficulty of reducing examinations to reduce the burden? My point is: the result may be counterproductive.

The difficulty and burden of examinations are not necessarily proportional. The absolute burden is related to your expectations, not the difficulty of the exam. No matter how difficult the exam, if you want zero points, it is extremely easy. No matter how simple the exam is, it is very difficult for full scores, and it must be made extraordinary. As long as there are higher pursuit and higher goals, objective burden must be heavy.

However, if you blindly reduce the difficulty of the exam, it will add an ineffective burden. There is no distinction test, and the test is proficiency and the degree of carefulness. Excellent candidates often need to work hard for one point for one point for one point. This is a typical increase in burden, and it is also an invalid burden. It is also possible that the "genius teenagers" can be wiped out. Tsinghua Qiu Chengtong has lowered the admission grade to the third grade. An important purpose is to liberate such top -tip students from the learning burden of the third grade.

Third, replacing the high -level examination with the high -level exam, damaging fairness and justice.

The exams are divided into two categories, one is a horizontal exam, and the other is the selection test. In principle, the difficulty of the horizontal test is relatively low; from the perspective of measurement, the distinction is low, which is rough granular, and only pursues the general layering of students. However, the selection test is different, it emphasizes the differences and selection of different talents, and requires higher levels and fine particles.

The various exams we are familiar with are the former, and it is also supported by its admission system, that is, comprehensive evaluation, multiple admission, and test results are not the only basis.

If a horizontal exam is adopted in the entrance examination, a comprehensive evaluation must be matched. However, due to integrity and other reasons, the admission method of comprehensive evaluation is temporarily unable to promote it in China for the time being, and has to return to the unique rigid basis of score. In this context, the selection of selected middle school entrance examinations with horizontal examinations may damage fairness and fairness.

At the same time, this also has a negative impact on the selection and training of talents. According to a voice, this unprepared exam is to make prestigious schools unable to choose to be selected to outstanding students and achieve the purpose of "balance of students". Regardless of whether the competent authority exists in this idea, there is indeed such problems in the results. It is difficult for excellent middle schools to adopt really excellent students by scores, so how do they choose?

Education is not for the exam, but under the admission system with scores as the core, the middle and college entrance examination must assume the selection function. Objectively, it is also one of the important ways of social class flow. This is also the fundamental reason why ordinary people attach great importance to the middle and college entrance examinations. Through hard work, a student is promoted to a good school is a legitimate education pursuit, and it is also our excellent cultural tradition. In the context of "double reduction", we still have to encourage this pursuit.

The selection and cultivation of top talents is a systematic engineering, and it is by no means that it only started in college. Especially many natural sciences, most of them belong to the early wisdom discipline and need to be involved early. If in the compulsory education stage, there are still a series of problems and disputes in the premature selection and training.
