Continuing the first heart of the sages and draw on the power of forgiving.

In the 1995 years of struggle, countless predecessors of Shangyi were rigorously cured and had noble medical ethics, which had a far -reaching impact on the development of Shangyi.

In 1956, after being approved by the Central Committee, there were 16 first -level professors and 22 second -level professors. These professors are pioneers, founders or leaders of each discipline.

In medical education positions, they demonstrated their own demonstrations and established people, dedicated and dedicated their selfless dedication in the cause of saving wounds, and made outstanding contributions to the development of modern medical education and medical and health undertakings in my country.

"Fudan Medical" official micro has gathered the story of 16 first -level professors (see the collection link at the end of the article). On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the doctor, from now on, Guanwei will push the story of 22 second -level professors, so as to pay tribute to the masters of the sages and inherit the original intention of the doctor.

Cui Zhiyi (1908 ~ 1975), a pioneer in China Micro Surgery. He was admitted to Yanjing University Medical Promotion in 1926, transferred to Xiehe Medical College in 1929, and then transferred to the National Shanghai Medical College (now Fudan University Shanghai Medical College) and graduated in 1935. After graduating, he stayed at school as a assistant and served as a surgeon of the First Hospital of the Red Cross (now Huashan Hospital). Four years later, he was promoted to a general resident, and in 1943, he was promoted to an associate professor. He studied in the United States in 1947 and studied at Harvard Medical College and Massachusetts General Hospital. After returning to China, he served as the Director of the First Hospital of the Red Cross Hospital, the president and the first dean of East China Hospital, the fifth president of Zhongshan Hospital, and the professor and deputy dean of Shanghai First Medical College (now Shanghai Medical College).

Cui Zhiyi's theory is solid, skilled, good at thinking, courageous innovation. Only two years after graduating from Shangyi, he has been able to perform spine surgery and kidney resection surgery accurately and skillfully. In the 1940s, in the treatment of acute appendicitis, when abdominal pain starts more than a certain period of time or a local abscess is formed, conservative therapy is mostly used. However, this treatment method is likely to cause complications such as perforation and peritonitis, which will extend the disease period and even bring serious consequences. In Cui Zhiyi's view, this conservative therapy is "negative, not desirable, and must be reforming." He believes that a positive method is to use surgery to eliminate pathogens at one time to obtain the treatment effect. And his treatment of acute cholecystitis also advocates surgery during the acute period, and there is no need to wait for the acute period to perform surgery. Through clinical proof of this positive therapy effective, the adverse consequences that conservative therapy may bring to patients can be avoided. Cui Zhiyi made 70 and 150 cases of medical analysis reports in the Surgical Society in 1943 and 1949, which has attracted great attention from the medical community. Since then, this new measure has been widely promoted.

In 1950, Cui Zhiyi boldly imagined the artificial blood vessels of domestic silk reagents to replace the imported artificial fiber blood vessels in order to replace the imported artificial fiber blood vessels. In 1957, on the basis of animal experiments, for the first time, he replaced a 11cm of real silk artificial blood vessels for the first time for the farmer with hemangioma with a right thigh arteries and successfully surgery. Subsequently, Cui Zhiyi and the collaborator continued to sum up and improve, and in 1959, it was made into a Chinese original seamless and ring -shaped folds artificial blood vessels, published a number of related arguments in "Chinese Surgery Magazine". Among them, the article "Silk Artificial Vascular -Experimental Research and Clinical Application" was read out at the 20th International Surgery Conference in Rome, causing strong interest and appreciation in the international surgeon community.

In the early 1960s, Cui Zhiyi started research and exploration in the field of micro -surgery and broken limbs. He started studying small blood vessels in the outer diameter below 5.0mm in 1961, and published a series of research results: sewing is still the most basic method for small blood vessels, and believes that in the sewing legal Subsequent, continuous and intermittent sutures, silk threads and nylon threads have their own advantages and disadvantages, which should be different from the visual vascular caliber and type; smaller blood vessels (such as the outer diameter 2.0 ~ 2.5mm or even the following) There are many advantages of intermittent sutures. In intravenous and venous transplantation, the application of nylon single silk is significantly better than the wire thread; after selecting the appropriate suture method and suture material, the key is still meticulous operation; about the transplantation of small blood vessels; Materials are more satisfied with autologous veins. And Cui Zhiyi's research conclusions still have some reference value for today's micro -blood vessels.

On this basis, Cui Zhiyi led the application of small blood vessels in 1964 and the technology of small blood vessels. On February 22, 1964, Cui Zhiyi presided over a worker who had been cured at Zhongshan Hospital with a worker who was completely separated from the upper arm of the right upper arm. it is good.

During his tenure as the deputy dean of Shanghai First Medical College (now Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University, hereinafter referred to as "Shangyi"), Cui Zhiyi actively led the reform of medical education and personally participated in the practice of demonstration lectures. Although over the years, regardless of his elderly asthma, he insisted on the rural tour medical care. He personally performed a resection of appendix for a 96 -year -old farmer, cured peritonitis, restored health, and became a century -old elderly. He also insisted on going to Zhongshan Hospital every week to conduct guiding rooms. In order to make students master the technology, he was tireless, carefully performing demonstration surgery for the students, and participating in difficult case discussions without authoritative shelves. When Cui Zhiyi treats patients, he always does his best, "destroying the disease for the crowd." In 1959, in order to rescue a large -scale burns, he donated his skin to the patient with his skin that had just been born. After the skin was planted, the patient was saved and truly completely completely completely completely completely patient. At the same time, he also strictly demanded that his lower physicians and intern doctors must not have negligence to treat patients. In addition, Cui Zhiyi also encouraged young doctors to boldly develop innovation and challenge the limit, "and" let go "below. According to Tang Zhaoxuan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor at Zhongshan Hospital, Cui Zhiyi strongly supported Yang Dongyue and Tang Zhaoxuan to explore the cooperation of Yang Dongyue and Tang Zhaoxuan. The group, and in 1966, completed the world's first first -to -to -toer reconstruction thumb (see the relevant reading below). It is precisely because Cui Zhiyi's is good at thinking, courageous innovation, and willing to "let go", and has cultivated a large number of outstanding talents for the country. Many of them have grown into well -known experts in my country's medical community.

Unforgettable Teacher: Professor Cui Zhiyi and real silk artificial blood vessels

Because it is eighty years old, I should also be regarded as the elderly (formerly Shanghai Medical College, now the Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University). Although I do n’t know much about the first generation of old people in Shangyi, some of them just understand them indirectly, but they have also wrote some of their bites and words. Today, I intend to write the importance of Professor Cui Zhiyi who had guided me and emphasized the importance of "innovation".

In the late 1950s, I followed Cui Zhiyi and Professor Feng Youxian for vascular surgery research. One day, Professor Cui Zhiyi asked me to accompany him to Shanghai Lao Jiefu Silk Store. He touched all kinds of silk east and saw a kind of "electricity spinning" and asked me, "A Tang, do you think this kind of slippery?" I said yes, he asked the clerk to cut one foot. I wondered, what can I do in a foot? It turned out that the silk he bought was sewed in a pipe in a sewing machine, removed the aortic aortic aortime of the dog, and then transplanted the "real silk blood vessels", which was unobstructed. However, there are some disadvantages of the real silk artificial blood vessels sewn by sewing machines, such as "sewing" to increase the possibility of blood vessel condensation; in addition, it cannot be bent. So we cooperated with Chen Jiajia engineers at the Shanghai Silk Institute to make seamlessly bended real silk artificial blood vessels and used it for clinical practice.

After seamless real silk artificial vascular, it is used for patients, solving many patients' vascular diseases. This result not only benefits patients, but also communicates internationally. In 1963, Professor Cui Zhiyi reported the results at the 20th International Surgery Conference and received widespread attention from international scholars. At the end of the 1960s, a dog transplanted by Zhehezi vascular died 10 years later. At that time, the "Cultural Revolution" was not managed by many things. Because this dog is a surgery I have done, I really want to know the results. I was surprised to find that the real silk blood vessels were still unblocked and did not rupture because it could stick to the new blood vessels and outer membranes, which could durable without rupture. This is like reinforced concrete, and reinforced and cement can only work.

▲ In 1958, Academician Tang Zhaoxuan followed Professor Cui Zhiyi for real silk vascular surgery

The clinically verified real silk artificial blood vessels are innovative because there is no abroad. So where this innovative idea came from, it turned out that Professor Cui Zhiyi was inspired by the use of a century -old Silk surgery sewing. After long -term application, real silk did not harm the human body, so it boldly proposed to use real silk as artificial blood vessels. There are two different ideas in modern innovation. Western innovation mainly follows the "from foundation to clinical", that is, the path of "theory to practice". And the history of our country for thousands of years has a lot of things that can withstand long -term practice. For example, Shennong tastes Baicao is the result of practice, and then rises to theory; such as "Compendium of Materia Medica", entering modernity, may also rise to a mechanism for analysis of modern science. I think that Professor Cui Zhiyi's innovation reminds us that we must pay attention to "from the foundation to the clinic" and "from clinical to the foundation", so that the ideas of innovation are more broad.

When it comes to innovation, Professor Cui Zhiyi has another characteristic, which is "let go". At that time, Professor Cui Zhiyi was one of the "four giants" in medical surgery. Everyone is not in awe of him, but I followed him for 10 years, but felt that he was approachable, and he was very "let go" below. If I tell him about my thoughts, his answer is often: "A Tang, you go to do it." Remember that in 1962, the micro -vascular surgery abroad had just started, and I said to him, "Can we do it?" He said, "Very good, you go." I did not expect that because of his "letting go", we took us a step forward in small vascular surgery. Soon after Professor Chen Zhongwei succeeded in taking over his hand, we also successfully took over the thumb. At that time, Cui Zhiyi had become the deputy dean of Shangyi, and Zhou Lan, deputy secretary of the party committee, and him supported Professor Yang Dongyue and my ideas, and cooperated to conduct a "free toe transplantation and reconstruction thumb" exploration. Immediately established a group consisting of hand surgery, vascular surgery, and orthopedic department. It took a few months in the operating room on the second floor of Building 3, Zhongshan Hospital, and finally completed the world's first "free toe reconstruction thumb". For decades, I have made achievements in the research of liver cancer. I was finally elected as the first academician of the Medical and Health Department of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. If they trace back, this is related to Professor Cui Zhiyi's "letting go" supporting young people.
