Abdullahiyan said at a joint press conference held at the capital Tehran with the visiting Syrian Foreign Minister MecDard that day that Iran has always had dialogue and consultation with Turkey and Syria. Abdullahiyan said that Iran tried to solve Turkey's concerns about the security issues of Turkey's border, hoping that Turkey would consider the suggestions made by the three parties. Abdullahiyan also said that the US military's military existence in the east of the Euphrase River in Syria is a major issue. In recent years, the United States has plundered Syria's natural resources in this region and affects the local situation. The U.S. military should "withdraw from Syria as soon as possible.

Turkey has recently stated many times that it is planned to implement military operations in northern Syria to create a 30 -kilometer "safe zone" along the border of the soil. Syria expressed his opposition, and the relationship between the two countries was in a state of tension.
Iranian President Laci, Russian President Putin and Turkish President Erdogan held talks in Tehran on the evening of the 19th. After the meeting, the three parties issued a joint statement, emphasizing the leading role of the Asuna process in peace and sustainable resolution of the Syrian crisis, and reiterated its firm commitment to Syria's sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity, and the purpose and principles of the UN Charter.
