On February 1, 2021, the Myanmar military took over the regime on the grounds of severe fraud in the election and announced that the state entered an emergency state of one year.According to Article 421 of the Myanmar Constitution, if the emergency state cannot end within one year, it will be allowed to be extended up to twice, six months each.On January 31, 2022, the Myanmar National Management Commission announced the first six months to extend the emergency state, and this time it was the second extension of the emergency state.According to the Constitution, the Myanmar military needs to hold a general election within half a year after the end of the emergency, and the regime will be handed over to the victory party after the election.
