The shooting occurred in Setinye, the Republic of Heishan. Police released a video statement saying that the attacker was 34 -year -old man Vuk Borilovic.

The man first shot the tenants rented in his house with a shotgun, including two children aged 8 and 11, and their mother. According to reports, after the gunman killed the mother and son, he called the victim's husband and told him what he did.

Police said it is unknown to the motivation of the gunman.

The Prime Minister of Heishan Derrima Abbasovic posted on a social platform that Satinye had "an unprecedented tragedy" and stated that Kurishan would mourn for three days from the evening of the 12th local time.
