Xinhua News Agency, Ankara, August 20th (Reporter Wang Tengfei Xiong Sihao) A major traffic accident occurred on the 20th of Gazuppan Province in Southeast Turkey, causing 16 deaths and 21 injuries.
According to Turkish media reports, earlier that day, a passenger bus hit an ambulance, fire truck, and live broadcast vehicles on a highway in Gazi Antipu Province, causing casualties.
Gezhi Antipu Governor Dawit Guller said in social media that the deaths include 2 journalists, 3 firefighters and 4 first -aid personnel.
At present, the wounded has been sent to a nearby hospital for treatment, and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
