According to the "Guardian" reported on the 20th, on August 20, local time, severe traffic accidents occurred in the province of Gachian and Maldin in the southeast of Turkey, causing at least 32 people to die.

An accident occurred on the highway between Gazi Antipu and Nizipp. Gaji Antipan Governor Dawat Gurle said that at about 10:45 am on the 20th, a passenger car rushed out of the road while driving on the highway. When the fire brigade and the medical team started rescue, another bus turned over 200 meters behind and hit the rescuers and the wounded on the ground. The accident caused 16 people, including emergency rescue workers and reporters, and 20 others were injured and treated.

The Minister of the Internal Affairs Sulaiman Soyu wrote on Twitter that a total of three firefighters, two nurses, and two reporters were killed on the highway between Gazi Angipu and Nizipp. He added that several people died on a bus.

On the same day, similar traffic accidents also occurred in the Derin District of Maldin, Turkey, and the vehicle hit the accident scene.

In the accident near the gas station in the area, a truck hit the two cars and turned over. According to the BBC, the truck brakes hit the crowd, including first aid personnel.

Turkish Minister of Health Fahreadin Kaka said the incident in Maldin killed 16 people and 29 people were injured, of which 8 were critical.

The Broadcasting Corporation reported that there was no connection between the two accidents. Turkey's "Liberty" said that two drivers are now arrested.
