According to the "Japan Economic News" report on the 20th, a survey released by a Japanese company recently showed that nearly 70 % of the interviewed companies said that they would increase the prices and service prices by June 2023.

It is reported that 1701 companies participated in the survey. According to the industry, 91.3%of the interviewed companies said in the "food and beverage and feed manufacturing" industry; in the "Building Materials and Furniture, Ceramics, and Earth and Stone Products wholesale", 89.1%of the company's interviewed companies planned to increase their prices; In the "Food and Beverage Wholesale" industry, 88.5 % of the interviewed companies plan to increase their prices. From time to perspective, 42.3%of the interviewed companies said that the price increased from April to May 2022, and 37%of the interviewed companies stated that they planned to raise prices within 1 year. In addition, 68.5%of the interviewed companies said that they had been implemented or planned to be promoted before June 2023. The main reason proposed by the enterprise is that it is difficult to completely digest the cost of crude oil prices and the increase in costs caused by rising labor costs through the efforts of enterprises.
