Wang Shuang: The world is so big, I want to see it. (Laughs) In fact, I really want to see where my limit is. I love football. I have always been willing to work hard for what I love. Although I have 20 years of age, I am only 27 years old. I still want to improve again, just like I just said, "The world is so big, I want to see it." I know that my goal is to be in the year of playing, and I can have the opportunity to go out to study abroad, and I can better "return".

Reporter of the Yangtze River Daily: From the perspective of professional football, Europe has a higher level in recent years, and data shows that the level of women's football league is lower than Europe. Why do you choose the United States?

Wang Shuang: Before I stayed in Asia and Europe, I chose the Americas this time. I also wanted to experience a different team style. I joined the Louisville Atletico Women's Football Women's Football team in Kentucky and was a new army of NWSL. The team name and team LOGO announced on July 8, 2020. In the 2021 season, Atletico Louisville's women's football team first appeared in NWSL, and eventually ranked 9th.

Wang Shuang: My mentality of staying abroad is definitely not the same as before. I will now cherish the opportunity to go out, and I will look at everyone's expectations more frankly. I clearly know that "staying abroad" is my own career pursuit, not to fulfill the wishes of others. If I do not perform well, I may be more disappointed than fans. I have always said that our athletes have a strong "heart". There are needed on the field, and there is also a way to do it. Doing a reduction for yourself is more important.

Reporter of the Yangtze River Daily: As far as I know, the reason why you can stay abroad this time, Wuhan Women's Football Club has made a lot of support, and leave again. Do you have anything to say about your hometown club? After the end of the abroad, do you still choose to return to Wuhan Club for efficiency?

Wang Shuang: Wuhan Club has always given me a lot of support. Whether I started from here when I was a kid, or later I stayed abroad. And this time when I was sure to sign a contract with the Women's Football Team of Louisville, the leaders of the Wuhan Sports Bureau and the Carujiang Grand Club helped me complete various procedures within a few days.
