Since multiple international diving training institutions such as PADI and SSI in 2017, the Mermaid series courses have been launched. In several years, they have trained and certified a large number of mermaid coaches and trainers that meet the qualifications of curriculum teaching. According to relevant data, in recent years, the number of domestic mermaid curriculum issues in China has increased by 300%each year. Mermaid coaches and mermaid performers have also become a popular profession of public.

According to incomplete statistics, more than 4,000 diving schools in the world have set up mermaid diving projects. In China, there are nearly 3,000 certified coaches, and more than 30,000 trainees holding mermaid diving licenses have been held.

The mermaid movement is still in the early days of development. At present, my country has taken the lead in achieving some results and experience in this project. Among them, the mermaid team in Shenzhen has played a very large leading role. Various mermaid events held in the future will enter standardization and normalization.
