Sprint to dream -the opening of the 6th Disabled Person Games in Luzhou City

Today, the opening ceremony of the Sixth Disabled Persons Games in Luzhou City was held at the Municipal Disabled Persons Cultural Center. The event was sponsored by the Disabled Persons' Federation, Luzhou Sports Bureau, and Luzhou Education Bureau.

There are 11 competitions for this sports meeting, namely track and field, swimming, table tennis, badminton, grass throw, darts, chess, Go, blind skipping, dry land curling, and rolling ball. The category of disability of the participating athletes is physical, visual, hearing, and intelligence. In the award settings, in addition to each competition award, there will also be organizational awards and sports morality awards. A total of 6 delegations in the city participated, with about 240 athletes.

In recent years, the city has launched a wide range of activities to help disabled, comprehensively improve the rehabilitation, education, employment and living conditions of disabled people, vigorously protect the basic rights of disabled people, and make great development in sports for the disabled. Our city has repeatedly filed a team to participate in the Provincial Paralympic Games, and selected excellent athletes to participate in national competitions, and achieved good results.

The current Paralympic Games aims to comprehensively show the sports style of the disabled people in Luzhou and select outstanding disabled athletes. The holding of the Paragraphic Games helps disabled people to establish a consciousness of advocating health, self -reliance, and self -reliance, and also help to promote the comprehensive development of the disabled and achieve a higher goal of common prosperity.
