On June 20, 2022, the Beijing Senior People's Court was sentenced to a bribery and illegally obtaining a state secret appeal in accordance with the law to the appellant Wang Linqing, rejected its appeal, and maintained the original sentence.

On the same day, the Beijing Higher People's Court also sentenced Zhao Faqi and others who bribed Wang Linqing.
