A few days ago, a video of "a man refusal to pay for a taxi and threatened the female driver with a knife" was circulated on the Internet. The Hongdong County Police from Linfen City, Shanxi Province reported in the early morning of June 28 that the suspect had been arrested.

The video showed that after a man arrived at the location of the taxi, he took out a short -knife and led the female driver who had a short knife to hold the front row driver's seat, saying that he had no money. The scared female taxi driver repeatedly said he didn't want money. After that, the man opened the door to escape.

Police reported that at 13:00 on June 25, 2022, a case of a taxi refused to pay the fare and coerced the female driver in Baizhuang Village, Donali Township, Hongdong County.

After receiving the alarm, the Hongdong County Public Security Bureau immediately organized police forces to carry out investigations and visiting work. On the 27th, the suspect Han Moupeng was arrested in Yaodu District, Linfen City.

After interrogation, Han Moupeng confessed to suspected illegal crimes. The case is currently under investigation.
