The demand for gas is one of the main gas fields that provide the Guangdong -Hong Kong -Macao Greater Bay Area and Hainan Free Trade Port.

It is reported that on August 20, 2021, the "Deep Sea No. 1" ultra -deep -water natural gas span the submarine pipeline of 691 kilometers. Development adds new gas sources. Thousands of households in Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and other places have used the ultra -deep -water natural gas developed and produced by China for the first time. The entire industrial chain of China's sea oil and gas is closely linked to the economy and people's livelihood in the Guangdong -Hong Kong -Macao Greater Bay Area.
