According to the local police, the woman is named Gexia Miron, who is 23 years old.

Police said that on the evening of July 14, local time, Milong deliberately dressed up as a newly hired nurse and entered the Health System of the Riverside University of the Moro Valley-Medical Center.

After she entered an obstetric ward, she claimed that she was a nurse to a patient, and then tried to take away a newborn baby.

However, she was questioned by the hospital staff in the ward. The staff notified the security guard after discovering the abnormalities. Miron failed to take the child as expected, but escaped the hospital before the security and police rushed to the scene.

After the police confirmed that Miron was the suspect at the end of the abduction, she arrested her in a residence in the Morino Valley the next morning.

According to police investigations, investigators also found "other items with evidence value" in her house.

Miron was charged with abduction and is currently detained at the Robert Presley detention center with a bail of $ 1 million.
