The Jialing River originated from the southern foot of Qinling in Shaanxi Province. It flows through 1 city of Shaanxi, Gansu, Sichuan, and Chongqing. It is injected into the Yangtze River in Chongqing with a total length of 1119 kilometers. The Jialing River flows through 7 counties (cities, districts) in Nanchong, South, Yilong, Pengan, Gao Ping, Shunqing, and Jialing, with a length of 301 kilometers in the territory.

The Jialing River is the largest dry flow in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, with an area of ​​160,000 square kilometers. The huge water energy resources, natural free gaps, and important water routes in the Jialing River are conducive to the development of avionics. In October 1999, the "Jialing River Quartet Planning Report" compiled by the provincial transportation, water conservancy, hydropower and other departments was approved and implemented by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. The Malaysian Huanshi Power Project in Peng'an County is located at the 9th level of the 16th level of the Jialing River steps. At that time, the preparatory committee of the Malaysian Return Railway Station was established in Peng'an County, and the office address was located in Zhongba Commune. In early 1970, Peng'an County reported to the Provincial Water Resources Bureau the request to build a horse back to power station. In August, the Provincial Water Resources Bureau approved the consent of the construction of the Malaysian power station. Immediately, a leading group of the Malaysian Power Station in Peng'an County was established, and more than 100 cadres were transferred from the county organs and units. More than 1,000 migrant workers were transferred in the county. The migrant workers bring their own food indicators, build the leading group to subsidize living expenses, and evaluate the work according to the efficiency of the workers. The construction leadership group has proved that the return to the production team to participate in agricultural distribution. Its work score is invested as the production team to the power station. In September 1972, the construction leadership group of the Malaysian Power Station in Peng'an County was changed to the engineering headquarters of the Malai Power Station in Peng'an County. It consists of 25 people, party and government cadres, and technicians. The migrant workers have increased to more than 3,000 people. There are 10 civil engineering companies, 2 transportation companies, 4 tunnels, and 3 stone workers. They undertake perennial construction tasks such as civil construction, transportation, tunnels, quarry and safety. For example, from the spring solstice of 1974 to the spring of 1975, more than 6,000 migrant workers in the county were transferred, and the construction of 3 and nights was adopted. In the winter of 1976, more than 10,000 migrant workers in the county were mobilized to assault the construction of Ming canal. After more than 6 years of hard work, on June 1, 1977, Unit 1, the power of 800 kilowatts, was officially generated. On December 29, 1979, the last unit was put into operation. At this point, all the five aircraft groups were operated by connection. In January 1980, the construction of two diameter (5 × 800 kilowatts) of two diameter (5 × 800 kilowatts) of two diameter (tunnel -type) power stations was fully completed. The total use of the entire project is 2.7768 million standard working days, 783,000 cubic meters of earth and stones, and a total investment of 12.218 million yuan.

In April 1985, the Provincial Family Planning Commission approved the design task book of the horse back to power station, using the terrain of the Jialing River, cutting straight, and establishing a dam -building water -building power station. The annual design power generation was 350 million kilowatt hours. , Annual passing capacity of 2.02 million tons. The Provincial Water Conservancy and Hydropower Survey and Design Institute and the Inland Survey and Design Institute of the Provincial Department of Transportation are undertaken. In November 1986, the State Family Planning Commission approved the use of foreign investment to introduce hosting equipment and the establishment of the Malaysian Power Station.

In January 1987, the Nanchong District Office established the Sichuan Provincial Malai Power Station Construction Leading Group consisting of local, county leaders and relevant departments, and 94 leading cadres and technical personnel formed the Malaysian Hydropower Station Project Construction Headquarters.

In June 1987, the bidding was passed, and the second engineering bureau of China (winning the civil engineering project) and the tenth engineering bureau of the Ministry of Hydropower (the installation of the bidding mechanical and electrical installation).

On September 16, 1987, the Malaysian Hydropower Station officially started construction.

In 1988, the Mahui Hydropower Station project was listed as one of the 43 key construction projects in Sichuan Province.

The entire project excavated 3.1 million cubic meters of earth and stones, 220,000 cubic meters of concrete was poured, and the slurry stones were about 50,000 cubic meters. The total investment was 330 million yuan.

After that, the horse returned to the power station in 1993 for technical transformation, and the following year was completed, and the total installed capacity reached 5613 kilowatts.

In October 1998, the expansion project of the Malaysian Power Station was officially started. On September 28, 2000, the first unit was put into production and power generation. On January 17, 2001, the second unit was expanded to put into production and power generation. In October 2001, it passed the complete completion and acceptance of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Water Resources. In June 2003, a total investment of 163.47 million yuan was expanded by the national audit acceptance. At this point, the total installed capacity of the Malaysian power station reached 86,100 kilowatts, and the annual power generation was 400 million kilowatt -hours.
