Ling Daoyang's former residence is a typical Hakka residential building, located in the old market village of Buji Street, Buji Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen. Ling Daoyang was born on December 8, 1888 in Fenghexu, Buji Village, Xin'an County, Guangzhou, and obtained a master's degree in forestry from Yale University in 1914. He is a well -known forestant, educator, and soil and water conservation experts in modern China. He initiated the establishment of China's first forestry club "China Forest Association", advocating the establishment of China's first "Tree Planting Festival", and participating in the establishment of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
